Moroccan, Spanish Archaeologists Excavate Sites in Morocco
GUELMIM, Feb.26 - A group of Moroccan and Spanish archaeologists are excavating sites in Guelmim province, (southern Morocco), part of a program started in 1995.
Excavations have revealed so far more than two hundred sites dating back to pre-Islamic era, said sources acquainted with the project, highlighting the scientific and cultural importance of these sites that need to be promoted as a universal heritage.
